FAQ

Is TrustOne a scam?

We understand your concern.
If you’ve been tricked by fake “delivery agents” or seen scam links on Facebook Marketplace or Carousell — you’re not alone.
Thousands of Singaporeans have faced the same thing.

That’s exactly why TrustOne was created — to stop these scams once and for all.

We are:

A Singapore-registered company (UEN: 202402665N)

Supported by UOB, OCBC, DBC, PayNow, and PayLah!

Built with government-grade verification protocols

You don’t pay us directly. You don’t log in on our site.
All payments and bank account connections happen securely through your own bank’s official platform.

And if anything feels off — you can speak to a real person, 7 days a week.

Why do I need to link my bank account?

We know it sounds like a red flag.
But this isn’t one of those shady “click-to-pay” links — and you’re not giving us any login credentials.

Here’s what actually happens:

  • You connect directly through your own bank’s official portal — just like you would when using PayNow, PayLah!, or other SG government services.

  • TrustOne never sees or stores your banking details.

  • This process simply confirms your identity and allows payment to be securely held in escrow.

It’s the same technology used by major insurers, banks, and GovTech apps in Singapore — just adapted to protect peer-to-peer deals on Facebook Marketplace and Carousell.

When do sellers get paid?

Immediately after the deal is confirmed.

Once the buyer links their bank and approves the transaction, TrustOne automatically transfers the full amount to the seller’s account, even before pickup.

That’s what makes TrustOne different:

  • Sellers don’t need to risk no-shows, bad buyers, or empty promises.

  • Buyers don’t need to worry about paying someone who might disappear.

Both sides are protected by bank-verified confirmation and live monitoring.

TrustOne is the only local platform where payment happens with real trust — and full control.

Is logging in through iBanking really safe?

Yes — because you’re not logging into us.

We completely understand the hesitation. Phishing scams have made Singaporeans wary of anything that says “log in with your bank.”

But here’s the difference:

  • TrustOne redirects you to your bank’s official login page (e.g., UOB, DBS, OCBC).

  • You log in on their platform, not ours.

  • We never see your credentials — only receive confirmation that your identity is verified.

Think of it like Singpass integration — except this is for money protection.

Do I need to create an account?

No. That’s one of our proudest features.

Unlike most platforms, TrustOne was designed to be:

  •  Zero-registration

  •  One-time use

  •  Privacy-first

You never create an account. We never store your data.
Every transaction is handled through a single, secure, self-destructing link.

This way, you stay in full control — no passwords, no inbox spam, no marketing traps.

Just a clean, verified, one-time process.

What kinds of items can I deliver?

TrustOne supports any legitimate personal item being sold on Carousell or Facebook Marketplace — from fashion to electronics, toys to tech.

As long as the item:

  • Is legal to deliver in Singapore

  • Doesn’t violate our Terms & Conditions
  • Can be physically collected by our courier

...it’s good to go.

We’re here to protect real people making real deals — not commercial freight or business logistics.

Is delivery insured?

Yes — and it’s optional.

When buyers book through TrustOne, they can choose to add insurance coverage for a small additional fee.

Coverage includes:

  • Lost or stolen packages

  • Delivery disputes

  • Refusals or failed hand-offs

  • Verified cases of fraud or item tampering

The insurance is handled transparently — no small print, and buyers can opt in or out during checkout.

What if someone doesn’t respond?

We know how frustrating it is when a deal just... dies.

That’s why every TrustOne transaction has a built-in expiry timer.

  • If the buyer doesn’t confirm payment → the link expires

  • If the seller doesn’t link their account → the funds are returned

  • No awkward follow-ups. No stress. Just auto-cancellation and full refund.

Both parties get email reminders before expiry — and if needed, our support team is ready to assist.
